Privacy Policy for Tablu

We save the following types of information:

• Account information: your name and email address, which you provide when you create an account.
• Financial data you enter: expense and transaction data you add to the app, such as amounts, categories, dates, and descriptions. This is your data, entered by you, for your own use within the app.
• Subscription and payment information: if you subscribe to Tablu Pro or purchase a lifetime plan, our payment processor handles your payment details securely. We never receive or store your full card number.

We do not save sensitive information like your government ID, social security number, or bank account credentials.

We use the information we save to:

• Create and manage your account
• Let you track, view, and manage your expenses and transactions
• Process subscription payments and manage your Pro or lifetime plan
• Send you transactional emails, like account confirmations and receipts
• Provide customer support when you need it
• Improve and maintain the app

We never use your data to show you ads. Tablu doesn't have ads, and we have no plans to add them.

This is the most important part of this policy, so we want to say it plainly:

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not access it for any reason other than operating and supporting the app you use. Your financial information is yours alone — within Tablu, it's visible only to you, and that's exactly how it should be.

If we ever need to look at account-level information — for example, to help with a support request you send us, or to keep the app secure and working properly — we do that narrowly, only as needed, and never to build a profile of you or use your data for anything beyond serving you.

Tablu runs on secure, trusted infrastructure to store your data, process payments, and send you emails. We choose the services behind the app carefully, and each one is only ever given the minimum information it needs to do its job — never more, and never for its own purposes.

We only share your information in these limited situations:

• With the trusted services that help us operate the app (see above)
• If required by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena or court order
• If necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tablu, our users, or others
• If Tablu is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case we'll notify you before your information is transferred or becomes subject to a different privacy policy

Your data is stored on secure servers with industry-standard protections, including encryption in transit. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we take real, ongoing care to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

We keep your account and expense data for as long as your account is active, so the app can work the way it's supposed to. If you delete your account, we delete your personal information and data as described below.

You're always in control of your data:

• Access and correction: view and edit your account information and transaction data directly within the app, anytime.
• Deletion: delete your account anytime from the app's settings. When you do, we permanently delete your personal information and expense/transaction data, except where we're legally required to retain certain records (for example, financial records tied to a purchase).
• Export: want a copy of your data before deleting your account? Just contact us using the information below.

Tablu isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly save personal information from anyone under 13, in line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we learn we've saved information from a child under 13, we'll delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has shared personal information with us, please reach out so we can remove it.

Tablu is available globally. Your data may be stored and processed in secure facilities operated by our service providers, which may be located in a different country than where you live. By using Tablu, you consent to this. Wherever your data is processed, we apply the same privacy protections described in this policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — to reflect changes in how the app works, or for legal reasons. If we make a material change, we'll let you know through the app or by email. The "Effective Date" at the top of this policy always reflects the most recent update.
